about the illustrator...Katrina

As an artist, Katrina G. Dohm's colorful and fresh illustrating supports the writing of Jones Beehler and helps bring things to life for the young readers of the Official Adventures Series.

Raised in a small rural town in northwest Wisconsin, Dohm was exposed to hockey growing up but her true love of the game began when she went to college at the University of North Dakota in 1986. Dohm graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Education degree.

For 22 years, Dohm dedicated herself to being an art teacher and all the “extras” that went along with it.  Dohm’s days were filled with hands on activities and non-stop action. Now a six year breast cancer survivor, she is "trying" to slow down just a bit. She currently lives in Southeast Iowa where she owns and operates a hardware store with her husband, Jamie. She is excited to spend more time in her new "In Home" studio and hopes to soon be able to set aside time for her creative endeavors!

about the front office manager...Chris
